Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Who we are

BoboGo Accounting Pty Ltd (ABN [YOUR ABN]), Sydney, Australia. Questions or requests: hello@bobogoaccounting.com.

2. What we collect

  • Account details — your name and email address when you sign up or sign in.
  • Learning activity — which courses you own, lessons you complete, and questions you post.
  • Purchase records — what you bought, when, and the amount. We never see or store your card details — these go directly to Stripe.
  • Technical data — basic log and device information generated when you use the site.

3. How we use it

To give you access to what you've purchased, track your progress, answer your questions, process payments and refunds, issue certificates, and send you service messages about your account. We only send marketing email if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run this platform:

  • Supabase — accounts and course data (database and authentication)
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Mux — video hosting and streaming
  • Vercel — website hosting

Some of these providers store or process data overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to make the site work. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Security and retention

Access is protected by authentication and database-level security rules, and course videos are streamed using signed, expiring links so only enrolled members can watch. We keep your information for as long as you have an account, and afterwards only as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or complain about how we've handled it, by emailing hello@bobogoaccounting.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.
